Electric locomotive assembly workshop

Electric locomotive assembly workshop is situated in the building №1 between the columns L-H, total area S=6720 m2. Building №6 – painting section, total area S=3800 m2. Building №11 – electric locomotive testing section, total area S=1730 m2. Building №9 - wood-manufacturing section, total area S=840 m2.Total industrial area of the workshop S=13090 m2. Basic works performed in assembly workshop: electric locomotive assembly, driver’s cabin lining, electric and pneumatic installation, assembly and installation of block-devices, assembly and installation of strength blocks and boxes, manufacturing and installation of pneumatic system pipeline. Painting of the basic units of an electric locomotive, painting of a whole electric locomotive and drying, main line electric locomotive testing, defect correction, green run and output of electric locomotive.

Electrical machine workshop

Electrical machine workshop is situated in the building №1 between the columns A-L and H-YA, total area S=11900 m2. The workshop specializes on producing of tractive motors TL-2K, TL3 and auxiliary machines TL-110V, TL-122, NB-110. Basic processes carried out in the workshop: detail punching from electric mechanical steel, machine processing of traction engine and auxiliary machines details, assembly and testing of auxiliary machines and traction engines separate units, anchor impregnation and drying. The workshop is completed by the universal and special unique equipment and means of transport.

Control room and section-coil workshop

Control room and section-coil workshop is situated in the building №2, total industrial area S=7200 m2. The workshop is stocked with the equipment for:
- machine processing;
- apparatus assembly;
- unit impregnation and drying;
- coil fabrication and assembling by machine method;
- coil and apparatus assembly on special stands;
- coil impregnation, drying and testing.

Stamping and metalwork workshop

The workshop is situated in the building №3 between the columns A-K and 1-B, total industrial area S=9520 m2. The workshop is specialized on black, color, firm isolated and rubber product punching, machining, black hire thermal cutting, manufacturing of various kinds of metal constructions and products (air tanks, skeletons of the block of devices, casings of tooth gearings, skeletons of driver and the driver’s assistant boards, body roofs, track-clearer, various frames, boxes and bases, etc.) by manual electroarc, demi automatic, automatic and dot welding. The workshop is stocked with multi-purpose and special equipment and means of transport.

Forge workshop

Forge workshop is situated in the building №7, total industrial area S=3024 m2. The workshop is specialized on detail manufacturing by swaging and hot punching, manufacturing of different types of springs, thermal processing of details (hardening, cementation, tempering, annealing, normalization) gas cutting of black hire. The workshop is stocked with multi-purpose press forging, thermal, gas cutting equipment and means of transport.

Experimental mechanical workshop

Experimental mechanical workshop is situated in the building №5 between the columns G-D and B-G, total industrial area S=7200 m2. The workshop is specialized on detail machining on universal machine tools, semiautomatic devices, automatic devices and on machine tools with program control, and also on manufacturing of details and units of a pre-production model, industrial coke-quenching electric locomotive assembly. The workshop is stocked with multi-purpose turning machines, lathes with computer control, multi-purpose drilling and milling machines for mechanical machine processing, producing of experimental sample parts.

Bogie-body workshop

Bogie-body workshop is situated in the building №3 between the columns S-K, total industrial area S=11900 m2. Shop is specialized on manufacturing of body and carriage components, on bogie and body assembly, installation of metal construction in the body, mechanical and thermal processing and cleaning of bogie details. The workshop is stocked with multi-purpose lathes, drilling, grinding, gear-hobbing, milling and unique slab-milling machines, kilns, shotblastung chamber, automatic and half-automatic hand welding machines, specially equipped assembly stands and lifting transport gears.
